How To Use

Step 1 — Exfoliate: In the shower, use the Body Brush in circular motions across damp skin to slough off dead skin cells and stimulate circulation. Start at your feet and work upward.

Step 2 — Scoop: After showering, use the narrow spoon to scoop your body butter or the wide spoon for your body scrub. Apply directly to skin — no fingers in the jar, no contamination.

Step 3 — Apply: Work the product into your skin while it's still slightly damp for maximum absorption. The exfoliation from the brush means your skin is ready to drink it in.

How do I use the brush?

2 ways - dry brushing before your shower, or directly in the shower on wet skin.

For dry brushing, use long, sweeping strokes toward your heart before you step in.

In the shower, work it in circular motions over your body to exfoliate and boost circulation.

How often should I use it?

2–4 times per week is a good starting point. If your skin is sensitive, start with once a week and build from there. Daily use is fine for most people once your skin adjusts.

Are the bristles harsh for sensitive skin?

The bristles are firm enough to exfoliate effectively but designed to be comfortable on skin.

If you're new to body brushing, apply lighter pressure and let your skin get used to it over the first week or two.

Can I use it with Gleam products?

Yes! Use the brush first to exfoliate and open up the skin, then follow with Seal the Deal Body Oil or Body Butter. Your skin will absorb the moisture much more effectively after brushing.

Do I use it before or after washing my body?

Before. Brush first to remove dead skin and stimulate circulation, then cleanse and follow with your Gleam moisturizer or oil while your skin is still slightly damp.

How do I clean the brush?

Rinse it with warm water after each use and let it air dry bristle-side down or hanging. Deep clean it once a week with a small amount of gentle soap, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before storing.

How long will it last?

With regular use and proper care, the brush should last many months. Replace it when the bristles start to soften significantly or lose their shape.

Is this only for the body?

Yes. The Gleam Body Brush is designed for use on the body only — avoid the face and any broken, irritated, or sunburned skin.
